Georgios Stavritis is a Project Manager at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Defense and Space (DG DEFIS). He manages European projects that promote collaboration, disruptiveness and innovation within the defense sector, with a focus on improving the competitiveness of defense SMEs and supporting their cross-border expansion in the EU Single Market. He is a retired naval officer with studies and academic background in Computer Science in USA and international relations in France.
